Dunbar

Poetry & visuals celebrate the Civil War soldier Joshua Dunbar, his widow Matilda, and his son Paul Laurence and wife Alice Moore Dunbar,, who gave their name to the Dunbar Center and Dunbar American Legion Post in Syracuse, and many other African-American social, cultural and educational centers and schools.

Premiere October 29, 2023 at Studio 24 Syracuse, and the next week at Syracuse Atrium at City Commons.
